Tap hole drilling machine

The tap hole drilling and setting machine was developed for renewing the converter tap hole sleeve without moving the machine in only a single operation.

Our slag raking machines are used to remove the floating slag from the liquid metal in the pouring ladles.

SHOOTER spraying manipulator

SHOOTER spraying manipulator

The shooter is used for hot repairs on converters and ladles. A telescopic spray lance is positioned by remote controls to the damaged areas in the converter.

Advantages:

  • Longer lifetime of the refractory of the converter vessel
  • The vessel repairs can be carried out during the running process at temperatures up to 1400°C
  • Telescopic spraying boom
  • Precise control
  • Efficent material application
  • The mixing of the refractory material takes place at the front of the spraying lance to avoid material line blockages
  • Strong water cooling system for the lance

Hot Box Mover

Hot Box Mover

The HOT BOX MOVER is used to transport the hot slag. It picks up the HOT BOX - the container that contains the hot slag - and transports it from the furnace to the slag bed or the intermediate storage place.

Advantages:

  • Significant increase in work safety, because the operator controls the machine by radio remote controls from a safe distance. This eliminates the need for the employee to work in the immediate hot area
  • Electro-hydraulic drive for sensitive and precise control of the HOT BOX MOVER
  • Abolition of obsolete OTR equipment that is no longer acceptable in today's environment
  • Elimination of liquid slag dumping in open pits
  • Elimination of the safety risks associated with the transport of liquid slag within the plant.

The charging machine is a multifunctional machine on a wheel mounted chassis. With various attachments, it carries out all the work that needs to be done in the electric arc furnace slag door area.

The crawlers and wheel mounted slag loaders are modified by TML for hot operation according to customer requirements. The safety of the machines operators is paramount during the dangerous work under the electric furnace.
