5 Tonne Excavator
In the UNIDACHS 220 debricking machine for the first time there is an unusually small and compact debricking machine for the iron and steel industry, featuring the unique kinematics of a rotating telescopic boom. It can be deployed in very tight spaces and where working space and height is restricted.
The UNIDACHS 220, TML’s new 5 tonne excavator, is ideal for debricking ladles, tundishes, furnaces and chimneys because it was built to be used in hot zones and, with its 360° endlessly rotating telescopic boom, it can reach every point from which material needs to be removed. With a stroke of 2,000 mm the UNIDACHS 220 combines an optimum reach with a maximum of flexibility.
The new UNIDACHS 220 is optimised for hydraulic hammers and cutters up to a weight of around 500 kg.
Operators value the rotating boom and especially the fact that from a single position they can easily reach the full working range. Mini-excavators with articulated arms are unable to do this due to the kinematics involved. With remote control operation, the driver is always able to work at a safe distance.
