Hydraulic Excavator

As opposed to cable excavators, hydraulic excavators with telescopic boom deliver power directly at the attachment, for example when sinking shafts or debricking iron and steel foundry systems.

As opposed to excavators with articulated arms, TML hydraulic excavators are equipped with a unique kinematic system. The attachment tool is able to move both linearly and by rotating. Because they have no articulated arm they can be deployed in very tight spaces and where working space and height is restricted.

TML hydraulic excavators are designed for use in the harshest of conditions – in the iron and steel industry, mining and tunnelling, and in the construction and cement-making industries.

They are at work inside steel works in the extremely harsh conditions found in the hot zones. The materials, hydraulics, cables, and the electronics systems in the machines are optimally adapted to the high ambient temperatures. For example the telescopic boom is fully enclosed. That means that the components inside the boom – such as the hydraulic cylinder and the hoses – are protected from heat radiation and from falling objects.
